iMovie Tip
James Kennedy just sent us this tip... "I just discovered that if one is doing lots of editing that the timing for all of the edits can become quite troublesome. One scene can become a dizzying array of chopped up files with transitions and music fades, etc. One way to minimize the complexity of the edits in the timeline is to save work as it is completed. Drag the first clip into the timeline. Edit, edit, edit. When you are finished, save project, import the clip.mov folder from the project folder and throw away all of the edited material from the timeline. The new imported clip.mov file now has all of the edits and is imported as one contiguous file. This makes future editing easier as there are fewer resources to worry about."Thanks Jim, that's good advice. |
